Bells Palsey More Condition_symptoms

We are going in 2010, between the thoughts of the end of the year are also those relating to the blog and its reason to exist.

believe I've always wanted to make wine, the winemaker puts some passion in fact. Therefore try not to criticize the wine blog, simply put those that have left a good impression are correct and understand value for money.

I do all this within my subjectivity, but with love, dedication and honesty they deserve our wines.

Think of the blog and the things I love, I always carried a quote from William Faulkner, who sometimes helped me to rethink the passion that we put in the things we want:

Yes is love! They say that love dies, love never dies, one is the one who dies. Love goes away, leaves one if one is not worthy ........"

Thanks to all my readers, this is meaningless without you !.

CONGRATULATIONS AND HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO ALL!

Senetiner Visit to Bodega Ocean - Part 2

Following the note on the visit to La Bodega Ocean of Viedma - Rio Black Friday 19/11 that I carried out with one of its owners, Mr . Jorge Lascano, I will tell something about the Pinot Noir they produce.

The Pinot Noir is very difficult to grow - making wine and many believe that only you can produce great wines in the French Bourgogne (Burgundy). It's a tight grain variety with a very thin skin tough, ergo very susceptible to diseases. It appears that this variety of "short cycle", which is harvested earlier than other grapes, found its place in Patagonia, where the wind causes your skin to bulge and dry climate promotes healing.

Let the Pinot Noir from the winery, a wine that has a 20% French oak in wine production and the Sea, which has a cut of 70% Malbec and 30% Merlot:

OVERSEAS Pinot Noir 2009:

Color: ruby red course, some maroon and deep tone medium-low.
Aroma: fruity red fruits like cherry and some prunes. It is almost imperceptible wood and is slightly alcoholic. Average volume of aroma.
Taste: delicate, fresh and round, with low tannins, medium acidity and dry etching. Well balanced in the mouth, is also in the center, very even and smooth. Body is medium-low and medium persistence.

Conclusion: good Pinot Black, with more color than the 2007 that it had tested, was also less acidic and more persistent than the 2007 vintage.
I also tried this wine, wood from the steel tank and is very balanced and smooth in the mouth, I think that "finesse" is its main feature. I liked the two crops I tried this wine stands out much more in the mouth with flavor.

MAR 2007 (70% Malbec - Merlot 30%):

Color: garnet red good depth, somewhat opaque and tile reflexes by age.
Aroma: fruity more aimed at raisins herbs, spices and moist soil. good volume of aroma.
Taste: full, fleshy, solid, somewhat tannic, slightly sweet attack and low acidity. In the mouth's center with a tendency later for his attack something sweet, is warm and soft. Graduation of 14.5 ° with medium body and correct persistence.

Conclusion: this is no longer sold, but as we knew before, and George got me a bottle, it said. It exports to the U.S. and a line bivarietal. As a young man was much more fruity and nervous in the mouth, time has tamed and evolution has not done badly.

Naseptin And The Pill

Callia High "Shiraz - Bonarda" 2009

Bodega: Bodega Callia
Area: Tulum Valley - San Juan

Color: deep ruby red middle and somewhat opaque.
Aroma: fruity red fruit with spice of shiraz and some smoke.
Taste: soft delicate and round, with low tannins. The attack is warm with a slight sweet and has very good balance in the middle of the mouth, quite full of couples and round, no sharp edges. It has an alcohol content of 14 ° and medium persistence.

Value: 15 pesos
Quality / Price: Good

Conclusion: had tried every line Callia Alta 2009 and I had not liked it so much like 2008, I wrote this when I commented on the Callia Shiraz 2009.

As Callia Bonarda Shiraz 2009 was awarded in the contest VinoSub30 Buenos Aires 2010, I gave him one more chance to accompany the barbecue on Sunday hot and cool it in the fridge and tried it before lunch and then accompany the barbecue.

When I take this Shiraz-Bonarda always remember the many discuciones at dinner that I have with my friend Carlos S., this wine is a favorite and always discussed when we go to dinner on whether we ask or not to accompany the meal.

The truth is that he behaved very well, "little round" and suitable for cooling the hot days ahead, besides being very accessible.

Visit to Bodega Ocean - Part 1 Seventh

Oceano La Bodega is located in Viedma - Rio Black and only sell their wines to foreign markets, currently being sold to Australia, Brazil and understand that something the U.S.. 19/11 On Friday I was invited to visit the winery and I was able to see the current status of the project and the desire that the brothers put this Lascano.

I am forced to sever the note because I tried too hard and dialogue samples from the steel tanks and oak barrels, accompanied by Jorge Lascano.

The winery has a production capacity of 275,000 liters and in 2010 it produced 120,000 liters on the other hand and in order to access foreign markets the wines are made organically and with very low levels of sulfites. I was very interested to observe care in monitoring and "traceability" of the wine from the vineyard, to the steel tanks and oak. That is, vinified separately and are not just pictures of grapes, but what level of detail rows in order to make wine every part of the crop at its optimum maturity.

Finally, Jorge told me that at year end would be facing and sales in the domestic market, with some lines of wine.

Let the white wine, a Sauvignon Blanc that had ever tried at other times in the bottle, now I also try from tanks harvest 2009 and 2010:

OVERSEAS Sauvignon Blanc:

2007 (export to USA): golden yellow evolved. Mild aroma with pineapple, butter and a little sherry for his age. In the mouth it is smooth and round, with moderate acidity present in the center of the mouth and persistent media.

2009 (stainless steel tank.) pale yellow. Mild aroma of pineapple and caramel - smoking. In the mouth it is smooth, cool and smooth with medium acidity, center forward presence in the mouth and medium persistence.

2010 (stainless steel tank.) yellow and greenish. Aromas of pineapple and pink grapefruit. In the mouth is nervous, delicate and penetrating, with very good acidity, presence center - side of the mouth and high persistence.

Conclusion: I had really enjoyed the time in 2007 I tried it, but today is very advanced, but also no longer for sale, but lost a bottle in the cellar, which was the one who tried. All three have this pineapple aroma and persistence in the medium to medium / high. The 2009 Sauvignon Blanc is a typical Patagonian without the aromatic descriptor "cat pee" often have some SB de Mendoza.
2010 is a "great wine", with very good volume of aroma, a lot of concentration, excellent acidity and a persistent medium / high.

When we talked about the high concentration of 2010, Jorge I noted that the steel tank was smaller than that of 2009. It happened that in 2010 earned less grapes because the weather was less kind, and was obtained less wine and more concentration on its features, result: a vinasse.

More info at: http://www.vinodelmar.com.ar

Note: the warehouse informed me that in the domestic market will only harvest of the Sauvignon Blanc 2010, SB 2009 will go outside.

Bodega

4/11/2010 On Thursday we met at Vinopolis de Viedma to try wines from Seven, which kindly presented the sommelier Bettiana Gabilondo. The vineyards are Agrelo (Lujan de Cuyo) - Mendoza, is part of Codorniu and its seventh store in the world, hence its name.

Wine tasting previously started with a glass of sparkling wine, Mary, I will not describe, but if I comment it one of the sparkling consumption usually prepared by Charmat method in steel tanks, 80% Chardonnay / 20% Pinot Noir and good value for money. Has a slight sweetness to dislike me a little because my taste is very dry, however it is what they like in the local market, is highly recommended.

Let reds:

Septima Tempranillo 2006 - $ 34 : garnet evolved shallow. Tertiary aromas, raisins, ripe plum and wood / snuff, some of the characteristic aroma of wines from Bodegas Lopez. In the mouth it is delicate, fresh and light, with Grad Alc. 14 °. It has good balance in the middle of the mouth, with slightly elevated acidity and medium persistence.

Seventh
Malbec 2009 - $ 34 : ruby red with violet reflections and average depth. Fruity aroma of red fruit, some raspberry / cherry and vanilla from the wood. In the mouth it is sharp and tannic with Grad Alc. 14 °. Unbalanced forward of the mouth with a slightly sweet attack, noticeable tannins still young and untamed, has medium persistence.

Seventh Day Cabernet 2008 - $ 54 : Bordeaux red of mean and great depth. Slightly fruity aroma, but also spicy / earthy, nuts?, Without the typical green pepper variety (that is accentuated in Cafayate Cabernet). In the mouth it is structured, round and with a slight astringency in the end, with Grad Alc. 14.5 °. Great balance in the mouth to be a varietal Cabernet, something is going backwards by its slight bitterness and astringency, but again it has great balance, with persistent medium / high.

Seventh Day Malbec 2008 - $ 54 : evolution almost ruby red with violet reflections and average depth. Aroma fruity, red and black fruit with some vanilla and chocolate wood. In the mouth it is fleshy, full and delicate, with Grad Alc. 14.5 °. Unbalanced center forward in the mouth with sweet and persistent attack medium / high.
is very pleasant on the nose and silky in the mouth.

CONCLUSION: in general refers to the Seventh Tempranillo 2006 was the most liked, it was stressed much delicacy and balance, great wine with this value.

After talking with some friends, frequent visitors to the Vinopolis tasting, enough of the Seventh Day spoke Cabernet 2008, from its very good balance to be a varietal Cabernet and the preference of many men with this strain.

I must say I really like this Cabernet and especially remember the 2005 vintage, however I got to prove "bottle" and at dinner that night the Seventh Malbec Day 2008, I liked the aroma, and silky in the mouth was a persisting Quite right for your price range.

Senile Dementia More Condition_symptoms- Uk

Quara Tannat 2008 Pinot

Zone : Cafayate - Salta

Cork: 45 mm, natural reconstituted.
Color: deep purple red high, with bluish-black on the edge.
Aroma: fruity good intensity, with aromas more tending to the vegetable and spicy, slightly herbaceous green chili, pepper, smoke, eucalyptus or mint?. Not noticed the vanilla of the wood.
Taste: solid, strong, sharp and tannic. The attack is dry and then do the center and sides of the tongue showing good acidity. Is young and somewhat hard tannins that make rough tongue and palate. Slight astringency. Grad 13.5 ° alcoholic. Medium persistence.

Quality / Price: Very Good

CONCLUSION: Wine always follow one of my workhorses to surprise friends in the barbecue. It has never ceased to amaze me, is very original, do not look at it from the standpoint of balance or finesse. Always takes you by surprise in its color and mouth. It is a very original and personal strain, may like or not, but never go unnoticed.
Tannat is said to have aromas of eucalyptus, this is a smell we all know and can identify in this almost did not notice, but think about it when you try.

Agrestis 2007 vs Noir. End of the World Reserve Pinot Noir 2008 Malbec Roble 2010

Following parallel benchmarking Patagonian Pinot Noir, a group of 4 people tried to blind two wines made by the same winemaker and from different areas, one of General Roca - Black River and other St. Patrick's Chañar - Neuquén. Both wines are of a "confidential", with some oak aging and aging potential and are made by winemaker Marcelo Miranda, ex-Canale and currently vinified to Bodega del Fin del Mundo:
Agrestis Pinot Noir 2007:

Winery: Agrestis
Area: General Roca - Rio Black

Color: brick red clear, evolved with low brightness and low depth.
Aroma: slightly fruity, but it is spicy, with earth and wood evolved. Very low volume of aroma, flat.
Taste: solid, meaty and quite tannic, with no fresh attack with good acidity. Very good balance in the mouth with center full mouth. Its alcohol content is 14 ° and has high persistence.

Value: $ 60
Quality / Price: Regular

Doomsday RESERVE Pinot Noir 2008:

Bodega Bodega doomsday
Area: St. Patrick's Chañar - Neuquén

Color: ruby red with violet reflections, water, bright and shallow.
Aroma: good crop of red fruits, raspberry, light touch of wood smoke. Very good volume of aroma.
Taste: light, sharp and angular, sweet and acid attack too high. In the mouth becomes unbalanced forward and sideways, with a feeling of bitterness that bothers a little. Its alcohol content is 13 ° and have low persistence.

Value: $ 58
Quality / Price: Mala

Conclusion: bring me bad the Pinot Noir of the Bodega del Fin del Mundo, so far I have been disappointed, and I am surprised because the rest of their wines (especially the Malbec) have always played well in price / quality. The Agrestis has to rescue a very good balance in the mouth, good tannic and very persistent, deserves a try to see that a Pinot Noir wine can be a "persistent" and not "short" as are most wines made with this grape.

Coffee Table Cubefield

Ventus

The truth is that Joseph of http://winemdq.blogspot.com/ hand I won with this comment, but could not pass up this very promising little wine for their excellent price / quality, only $ 23 !!!!.
Horacio I recommended him to Vinopolis, had hardly reached this new wine 2010 at the wine bar and except for a somewhat peculiar aroma that I found the first bottle I took, then behaved excellent nose and mouth . Also in two bottles and I took did not appear that "smell" that I found on the first bottle. And I have a box in storage, JE JE!
then transcribe the comments of Joseph

Location: San Patricio Chañar, Neuquen
Cork: Natural
Alcohol: 14.0% vol.
Prepared maceration for 20 days. 100% malolactic fermentation and aging in French and American oak, probably innerstave (oak staves in stainless tanks ... no barrels)

Tasting Notes:
View: deep plum red color with flashes of violet, stylish, clean and bright.
the 1st Nose Stay: appears soft notes of ripe plums.
the 2nd Nose Stirred: After a while, there are notes of strawberry, chocolate and vanilla.
Mouth: sweet attack very fruity in the mouth, somewhat astringent product of youth and lack of bottle, but very drinkable. This wine will accompany a family party in a few months.

A wine to drink a few bottles and save others for the next year or 2 years, where round its rough finish.

Note: Wine thanks for lending me your comments.

Valium More Drug_uses

Universo Austral x 2

Universo Austral winery owns vineyards in Rio Negro and San Patricio del Chañar and Añelo of Neuquen and Chile are a group that also has wineries and vineyards in Chile. Red House habitually consumed Patagonian Court that seemed original, but always too sweet desmerecía attack. There read http://vinosenbuenosaires.blogspot.com/ and http://mrwines.blogspot.com/ the 2008 was very good wine so, roasted through, we tested blindly and in parallel the following two wines from the cellar:
FINCA ROJA Malbec 2009:

Winery: Universo Austral
Area: Añelo - Neuquén

Color: ruby red clear, bright and average depth.
Aroma: fruity with some raspberry / cherry, smoky, slightly alcoholic. Average volume / low aroma.
Taste: fresh, soft and delicate, attack something sweet and good acidity. Unbalanced center-forward in the mouth and warms too much, but has correct acidity. It is very much alive. Its alcohol content is 14 ° and have low persistence.

Value: $ 23
Quality / Price: Fair to Good

VILLA RED Patagonian Court 2008:

Winery: Universo Austral
Area: Añelo - Neuquén

Color: garnet red evolution towards brick slightly dull and shallow.
Aroma: good fruit, with plum and some smoke / grass (herbal?) Is something alcoholic aroma with good volume.
Taste: Round , penetrating fluid, the attack is not sweet as 2007 and has an acidity Quite right. In the mouth it behaves in the center and sides of its acidity. Its alcohol content is 14 ° and has medium persistence.

Value: $ 23
Quality / Price: Good to Very Good

Conclusion: correct two wines for $ 23, we are left with the Patagonian Court 2008, which is very original, a "claret" made with Pinot Noir and Merlot from terroirs where these varieties are best. As Mr. Wine noticed a touch grassy, Red House Court Patagonia, but I've noticed this in several Merlot in the area of Black River and Neuquén, understand that there is a defect in production or lack of ripeness, but seems more a feature of criminality of Merlot in the area. The truth is that I ignore this issue but also touches appear in crops Sauvignon Blanc in the region.

Newen Pinot Noir 2009 vs. Pinot Noir 2009

I faithful follower NQN wines and Bodega del Fin del Mundo, rarely let me down. I should say that I was doing fana of Neuquén wines because they always are very good price / quality. This is no coincidence, given that the warehouses were born also were projected on the place, with modern technology and surrounded by vineyards fit for the area.

I wanted to stop in to look at both Black's 2009 Pinot wineries, since I like both lines and put them blindly and in parallel for comparison.

MALM Pinot Noir 2009:

Winery: NQN
Area: St. Patrick's Chañar - Neuquén

Color: clear ruby red, watery violet light, bright and average depth.
Aroma: fruity red berry, plum and spice, some vanilla from the wood, with touches of smoke. Good volume of aroma. Very delicate.
Taste: nervous, penetrating and slightly tannic attack without sweet and has high acidity. Very good balance in the mouth with mouth center and very strong trend towards sides by its acidity, very alive and fresh. Its alcohol content is 14.3 ° and has medium persistence.

Value: $ 32
Quality / Price: Excellent

NEWEN Pinot Noir 2009:

Bodega: Bodega doomsday
Area: St. Patrick's Chañar - Neuquén

Color: maroon clear trend brick, somewhat opaque and shallow .
Aroma: very little fruit, slight hint of wood, strength and low volume of aroma, flat.
Taste: hard, gritty and angular, slightly sweet attack and high acidity. In the mouth becomes unbalanced to the side and slightly forward. Its alcohol content is 14.1 ° and has low persistence.

Value: $ 28
Quality / Price: Mala

Conclusion: the Newen disappoint me, I did not like anything, it takes full advantage Malma in the same price segment. The Malma always been one of the best examples of this variety in Quality / Price and follow that path. I would add that the Malma Pinot Noir 2009 also liked the blog of friend Adrian in:

Then, and for those not so close to this variety, times ahead now that spring to serve with sensual, delicate wines, I leave this "jewel" that can give a very pleasant sensory experience. Add that to poetry ... but it better watch the movie "Sideways" that there is best explained by what means a good Pinot Noir.

Signs Of Prostate Cancer More Condition_symptoms

Malma Pinot Noir en Patagonia

That can be said about this so difficult to grow grapes and make wine? Many believe that the only place suitable to deliver great wines is the French Bourgogne (Burgundy). Because it is a difficult grape, unlike Cabernet is a "survivor."

The tight grain variety is very susceptible to diseases, with a very thin skin and little resistance. On the other hand is "short cycle" is harvested earlier than other grapes. Even winemakers say they truly are received from winemakers when they can make make a good Pinot Black!

personally never like this strain, even here in Patagonia I began to try more often and consistently. In particular Pinot Noir wines from Alto Valle de Río Neuquén Black and are surprised every year with their quality and potential. It seems that this variety, like the merlot, he found his place in the south. It is known that the wind makes your skin grow thick and dry weather promotes healing.

something else I'd rather take it with passion and say that just as the cabernet is a tough survivor, Pinot Noir is all care and gentleness.

To me a wine to be tasted before a meal and try to appreciate its bright color, its rich and delicate aromas fluency in her mouth.

Bodega Patritti

TASTING "Bodega Patritti" - San Patricio del Chañar - Neuquen

Patritti Winery is located in San Patricio del Chañar - Neuquén and began by the year 2003. With the collaboration of renowned winemaker Mariano Di Paola (La Rural - Catena) developed and began to enter their wines in the foreign and domestic.

I was able to attend a wine tasting, nicely directed by his owner Mr. Patritti and made possible by Vinopolis of Viedma. We tested a Pinot Noir 2008 ($ 70) Cabernet Sauvignon 2007 ($ 65), Malbec 2008 ($ 60) and a 2008 Merlot and unlabeled still early to market.

is noteworthy that the winery has the possibility of making wine in stainless steel tanks. masonry and pools, which greatly expands their ability to use different techniques to the manufacture of certain types of wines. Stainless steel tanks. conical (type slab) are a special development which allows the hat must be removed more easily pushed and down in a conventional cylindrical tank.
wines I tasted are very neat in its development with trends shallow color, type claret, but with good aromas, varietal typicality and body / medium persistence. You have French oak aging for 12 months. I dwell on the analysis of Merlot 2008 which was the one I liked:

FIRSTBORN Merlot 2008 ($ 75):

This wine has been produced 8400 bottles and has 12 months French oak barrels for first use.

Color: ruby red course, some tile, gloss medium, but very clear and average depth.
Aroma: fruity red fruit, raspberry, plum, some earth and vanilla. Average volume of aroma.
Taste: smooth, structured and round, light tannins; the attack is just sweet and has good acidity. Very good balance in the mouth, fills the mouth in a very even. Its alcohol content is 14.1 °, has medium body and very good persistence.

Conclusion: Wine "claret" and round and persistent, it is still some tannin because of their youth, but surely evolve for the better in the bottle in a year or two. I really liked the Merlot, had long since proved not a very sensitive and staff. I was reminded, yet again, because the Merlot found its climax in Patagonia.

Fructose Malabsorption More Condition_symptoms

Estiba 1 Cabernet 2009

Winery: Emerald
Area: Agrelo - Lujan de Cuyo - Mendoza

Cork: 45 mm, natural, reconstituted and medium quality.
Color: deep ruby red high.
Aroma: fruity medium plum and raspberry dominate, timber vanilla (vanillin) and some coffee. He hardly notices the typical green pepper cabernet.
Taste: solid, fleshy and well structured, the attack is just sweet and has good acidity. Good balance in the mouth with the typical trend of the cabernets backwards for their bitter and astringent. Its alcohol content is 13.2 ° and has good persistence.

Value: 25 pesos
Quality / Price : Very Good

CONCLUSION: Wine vigorous and overwhelming. Very good body and aromatic complexity. Security will better if we keep 1 or 2 years. Stout glass of wine and "dyer", which stains the glass, teeth, and to say that the soul !!!!!

Note: this line 2009 also has other good varieties, one of my favorite Tempranillo, Tempranillo is a rare and original.

My experience with this wine: Cabernet Agrelo always preferred and this is an example of what I like. Not only because it has excellent cabernet fruit from the area but also has a mix of French and American wood very well integrated wine. It also has the wrist of the group CATENA back!! What else to say then? This is a Cabernet Machasa and dyer and few there are in our current market, which currently prefers the more delicate wines. We can save. Or we can take it already, and let us stick a "pineapple" in the mouth to make us understand how a young cabernet.
